The Thames Path has beautiful scenery steeped in history – a superb backdrop for a festival of challenges. Push yourself on the ‘Thames Path Challenge’ - it’s 100km from Putney Bridge to Henley – or Half & Quarter distance options. Most will walk at their own pace, many will jog parts, and some will run the whole course.
Other options are the ‘Thames Bridges Trek’ - 25km through the capital over 16 historic bridges with the best City views. There’s also Sunday morning fun by the river for all the family on ‘The Henley 10K’.
Why not get a team together and make it a fab day out?
Details are at http://www.thamespathchallenge.com
If you would like to visit us while you are in Luxor, we would love to see you and show you around the centre. You will get a tour of the hospital, centre and the stables where you can meet and cuddle some of our patients!
We welcome volunteers from all walks of life. You don’t need to be a qualified vet or vet nurse to help us at the centre in Luxor. We have general volunteer placements, veterinary student and vet nurse student placements.
